The overall idea of this chapter is cole eating the mouse and all of those animals. It started to rain. Cole was watching out for the spirit bear. Coles bones were breaking because of the spirit bear was there and he was standing like a carved statue.
Cole ate a mouse to save his life. then it started to rain then Cole saw the spirit bear. Then Cole spat at it . And the spirit bear started coming towards Cole.

The bear is coming at Cole. Cole was eating the mouse. Cole got water from the rain shower. The bear was coming at Cole. I thought it was disgusting. I think the bear is going to attack.
the story is that Cole is foraging for food anything that looked good like the insects and the MOUSE.....pour mouse but anyway when the rain fell Cole opened his swollen mouth he let the rain fall into his mouth so he could get something to drink but before that when the rain wasn't pouring the mosquitoes were bothering him so he put mud all over himself he figured that would leave them alone.
The big idea of this chapter was Cole ate the mouse to help him survive. In the beginning Cole had the mouse in his hand and the mouse was trying to escape but Cole hurried and put it in his mouth! In the middle it started to rain and Cole opened his mouth for water. In the end the bear started coming towards Cole. I felt really bad for the mouse and I thought it was gross when he ate it. I think the bear will start coming toward him more and they possibly will get in another fight or Cole will let the bear help him. I dont know why I think a spirit bear is a bear that helps people with their prolems.
In the chapter Cole really wanted to live and because he was so desprate he started eating bugs,his vomit,and chester(eew). While chester was in Cole's mouth, Chester started biting Cole's lip and tounge after about 3 bites in to chesters body the mouse died. It started to rain and Cole saw spirit bear and was keeping a close eye on the bear. Cole started spitting at spirit bear about 4 times. my opinion on this chapter was really digusted and kept me on the edge of my seat literaly because the chapter had a load of details like the way The author described the mouse and the way he described the way the rain hit Cole's mouth. My pridictions are that the spirit bear will help cole in some way.
The main idea of this chapter is Cole trying to survive with the food he has. At the biginning of the chapter Cole eats the mouse. Cole puts mud on his neck and arm to keep the misquitoes away. He sees the spirit bear and spits at him. I think Cole is understanding how hard it is to live in the wilderness. I predict that Cole will try to find more food and try to make himself warm.

It is like he is dying. Cole is just laying there. The bear ate his puker. Cole is getting picked up by Garvey and Edwin. I think Cole is going to die because he is all scratched up by the bear. I think Cole will get help.
